Tuesday,  May 27, 2008 (Northfield, Minn.) Showcase Minnesota, a morning show on KARE-11 TV, will feature Anne Fredrickson and

The Baseball Brothers book in an upcoming show.  The program will air Monday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m.   KARE-11 is the Twin Cities NBC affiliate.  Tune in to see Anne discuss the unique history of the baseball-playing Fredrickson boys.

Monday, May 26, 2008 (Northfield, Minn.)  The Red Balloon Bookshop on Grand Avenue in St. Paul will host story time with author Anne Fredrickson on July 12 at 10:30.  Please join us for this fun event that will include a book reading and question and answer time.

St. Dominic Parent Publishes Children's Book

St. Dominic School parent Anne Fredrickson poses with her children Eric and Emilia while preparing to read her newly published book entitled, "The Baseball Brothers."  The third grade class waits attentively to hear the true story of her father-in-law and his family who made baseball history with their team made up of twelve brothers all from the Lakeville and Northfield area. "I wanted to take this story that has such importance to our family and create a vehicle to share it with another generation of kids in our family and in other families.  It is a story that makes history come alive to kids who can relate to the sports element, and it is a charming bit of nostalgia for the older people," states Ms. Fredrickson.

Book Released, Retail Outlets Added

Friday, May 23, 2008 (Northfield, Minn.)   The much-anticipated release of The Baseball Brothers book is finally here!  The book is hot off the press today and available for purchase online and at local retailers.   New stores have been added, including Monkey See, Monkey Read and the Northfield Historical Society Museum Store in Northfield and The Red Balloon Bookshop on Grand Avenue in St. Paul.  As before, you can also find the book at the University of St. Thomas and St. Olaf College Bookstores.

Book Featured on TV Show

Monday, May 12, 2008 (Northfield, Minn.)  Author Anne Fredrickson appeared today on Twin Cities Live, an afternoon talk show on KSTP-TV, Channel 5.  She was invited to be a guest to talk about The Baseball Brothers book and the Fredrickson family’s history with local baseball.  Hosts John and Rebecca were fascinated by the family’s unusual story.  See the video at www.twincitieslive.com and look for the past show dated May 12.

Thursday, May 1, 2008 (Northfield, Minn.) Anne Fredrickson, author of The Baseball Brothers, will appear on the Wayne Eddy Affair on KYMN Radio 1080 AM on Tuesday, May 13 from 9 to 11 am.  Listen in as the author discusses her life and the creation of the book with Northfield's favorite radio host.
